Hawk's eye is a blue-grey South African fibrous quartz with a silky sheen; hematite is Brazilian iron oxide, here in a matte finish. The compass is stainless steel with a black finish. They are traditionally associated with perspective.

    Great necklace, runs a bit snug

    Really well made and the compass is a nice heavy piece. I'm a bigger guy and the 50 cm sits pretty high, so I'd suggest the 55 cm if you have a wider neck. Stones look great against a dark shirt.
