We were born at 11:11

Ánima Onze began with a coincidence that kept repeating. For months, Lucía — who was designing jewelry for other brands at the time — kept glancing at the clock at exactly 11:11. At first she laughed; then she began using that instant as a pause: breathe, place a hand on the bracelet she was wearing, and remember what she was looking for that day. She discovered that a small piece, charged with a clear intention, could change the tone of an entire day. From that practice came an idea: to create jewelry that did not just look beautiful, but worked as a sign.

Every design starts from one of eight intentions — protection, love, abundance, balance, strength, wisdom, joy or energy — and from the stones and symbols that traditions have tied to them for centuries. We use only natural, hand-selected gemstones and honest metals: 18k gold plating over brass and 925 sterling silver, always nickel-free.

Then each piece travels to the hands that make it possible. We work with three family workshops: in Bali, where the beads are strung and the silver is worked; in Bangkok, where the charms are mounted and the finishes polished; and in Jaipur, where the stones are selected and cut. With all of them we hold fair trade agreements: prices agreed in advance, on-time payments, dignified working hours and a visit every year. Behind an Ánima Onze piece there are no anonymous factories; there are names.

We believe that the energy you put into something comes back. That is why we dedicate 1 % of every order to community projects in the regions where we work, and every year we publish where that one percent went. Our packaging is one hundred percent plastic-free: a recycled cardboard box, a cotton pouch and a seed-paper card. We do not promise miracles. We promise pieces made with care and a daily reminder of what you are building.
