The evil eye is one of the oldest motifs of the Mediterranean, and here we make it for him. Watchful Eye sets a stainless-steel eye in black and cobalt-blue enamel on a double-strand red waxed cord, flanked by four 4 mm hematite beads. Flat, light and almost invisible under a shirt cuff.

Details

Hematite is a Brazilian iron oxide with a metallic lustre, polished here in 4 mm beads. The eye is hand-enamelled stainless steel. The blue-eye motif has been worn in Turkey and Greece since antiquity.

    The black enamel evil eye is a smart twist on the classic blue one. Hematite beads are tiny but add just enough weight. Cord adjusts easily. Wish it came in a slightly thicker cord option too.
